Hello, my name is Hervé Philippe.
I'm a french musician and photographer living in the south of France near Spain. I started like social photographer twenty years ago with b/w argentic pictures. Streets snapshots, gypsies portraits, ... I made several exhibitions and had a lot of publications. I now take pictures totally differently with digital cameras with unique subject my family, simple colored landscapes and some abstractions. My creative process feels like a dialogue between the lines, form, colors and light of John Batho to the extremely personal and artistically meaningful of Robert Franck. Art and life are inseparable.
